Laneform is an urban planning public engagement platform that leverages the latest in generative AI. When a street, park, or any other public space is being redesigned, public input is crucial to the project's success. Laneform allows the public to constructively contribute to a project by creating visuals that express what they'd like to see in that space.
In just 3 short months, my co-founder and I built our MVP and piloted the tool on several projects in New York City.
The image studio is the core of the experience. Users may upload an image of the space they'd like to redesign, and then use the tools to draw their vision for the space.

The visioning session is a collaborative experience facilitated by the project planner. The planner may invite participants to the session, and then use the tools to draw their vision for the space.

After contributing their ideas to a visioning session, participants may then rank the ideas contributed by others. This simple side-by-side comparison provides an objective ranking of the group's aggregate preferences.
