Chromogotchi Privacy Policy

Chromogotchi does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

All information — including tab event counts and pet state — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. Nothing ever leaves your browser.

There are no accounts, no analytics, no cookies, and no third-party services. The extension requires only three permissions:

• tabs — to count open tabs and detect when tabs are opened, closed, or switched
• storage — to save the pet's state and daily event log locally
• alarms — to periodically refresh the pet's mood in the background
